Life today is so hectic. We always seem to be in
a hurry. We try to accomplish as much in a day
as humanly possible.
A long to-do list and a full calendar has given us
a false sense of self-importance and self-reliance.
Have you noticed people are so busy they do not
take the time to nurture their relationships
with family, friends and most of all…… God?
Many Christians struggle with this area.
We can even get so busy doing things for God,
we give up our time spent with God.
While God loves us to serve using the talents
and gifts He gave us, it is foolish for us to
serve unless we ourselves are filled and refreshed.
How can an empty well provide living water?
We all have our own personal relationship
with God, therefore, time spent with the Lord
will be different for each of us.
There is no right way and there are no rules,
but here are some examples:
on your to-do list. Maybe it is time to re-prioritize.
If you don’t, God might just do it for you.

- Daily Bible reading
- Time in prayer
- Time being still to hear from God
- Time giving God thanks, praising Him
and worshiping Him
- “Hear, O my people and I will warn you
-if you would but listen to me, O Israel."
(Psalm 81:8) - “Ask and it will be given you; seek and
you will find; knock and the door will
be opened to you.” (Matthew 7:7) - “My sheep listen for my voice; I know
them and they follow me.”
(John 10:27)
